Teach me your way, Lord. I will walk in your truth. Teach my heart to fear your name. I will give thanks to you with all my heart and will glorify your name forever. Your lovingkindness toward me is great and you have delivered my soul from the depths. When troubles are many, if any rise against me, I will hold my ground. I will not fear this war for my soul; I will trust in you. I rejoice in you always and show everyone a gentle spirit from within. You are near, you hear me, my thankful prayers are heard. It’s your peace that guards my heart and my mind in Christ Jesus. It’s your joy that gives me strength. Thank you for your goodness and grace. Praise you Jesus!
I count it all joy, Lord, to consider what you have done for me, and the work you are still completing in me. I find joy in this morning, even this afternoon and night; all day every day you are my Rock, my Fortress, and Shield. When I am weak, you are truly where I find my strength. When I have sorrow, you are my comfort and peace. Whether the sun shines or clouds gloom walking down this narrow road, you are with me every step. I find my joy in you, not in what goes on around me, but it’s in your presence, under the shadow of your wings. Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. Praise and glory to you alone, my Lord, my Jesus!
I give it all to you, Lord, casting my care on you. As I look forward into this day, a brave warrior still a humble servant, I breathe in deeply; your presence. My steps are ordered, prepared to walk in peace. My salvation and righteousness securely fastened in truth, I take up arms with Shield and Sword, faith and your Word, which is my weapon of choice. I will wield my words today carefully and in love. No matter what I do, I will do it in love, remembering you first loved me. So, my need for your help is still great. I expect your Word to grow within me, from seeds planted all along. You work in me, while I serve others. Thank you for your goodness. Praise and honor to you alone, my Jesus!
