Prayer, Day 4

I call to you, Lord, in awe of your splendor. My voice I raise to the heavens. You respond by your Spirit, within me, quickening mine. My heart cries out in worship of your holiness, my spirit is inspired as you prepare me for the day. May my countenance be steady, my resolve be undeniable, and my peace be sure. Help me walk this day in confidence, bold and firm against the enemy’s schemes. I am firmly planted, immovable, standing steadfast on your promises. A battle may be waged for my life, but I’ve only got eyes for you. Praise and glory to the King of kings and Lord of lords, Jesus!

Prayer, Day 26

My day begins by seeking you, Lord. What would you have me do? You bring me new inspiration each day. My life is as clay in your hands, mold me into what you will. I set my sights on those things that are unseen- by faith, I am bold as a lion, cunning as a serpent, gentle as a dove, swift as a deer, lofty as an eagle. All this through Christ who strengthens me; I can do all things in you. You are my Rock, my Fortress, in you I’ll place my trust. You guide me to new heights, to discover that you are the only one that I must please. Change my heart, make it wholly yours. I will remain steadfast, unmovable from the potter’s wheel; you are the Master Creator and giver of life. My heart continues to change, becoming more like you. I am humbled and in awe in your presence. Thanksgiving and praise are yours, Jesus Christ, forever my Lord!
